Product Detective is an AI-powered tool that helps you analyze and categorize Amazon products in bulk based on a reference category and specific exclusion criteria.
To use the tool, follow these steps:
- Download the Excel template using the button below.
- Fill in the Excel file with product data (Locale, ASIN, Image URL, Title). Ensure image URLs are correct and publicly accessible.
- Upload the completed Excel file using the "Upload Excel File" input.
- Enter a Reference Category (e.g., "Aspirapolvere senza filo", "Friggitrice ad aria").
- (Optional but Recommended) Use the Generate button or manually write a detailed Category Description. This is crucial for accuracy. Specify what the category IS and, more importantly, what it IS NOT (exclusions). For example, for "Aspirapolvere senza filo", you might exclude "robot aspirapolvere", "accessori per aspirapolvere", "parti di ricambio". The AI will strictly follow these exclusions.
- Select the desired AI model (e.g., `models/gemini-2.0-flash`).
- Click Analyze Products to start the analysis. You can stop/resume the process.
- Review the results in the table below. Failed analyses can be retried.
- Export the results to Excel using the "Export to Excel" button.
